The Clinicians’ Oral Health Channel (COHC) has been developed to provide clinicians and RDHM staff with access to evidence based information.

The COHC provides access to the following 4 online dental journals now subscribed to by DHSV:

How to access the COHC from work (in The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne)

When you are located within RDHM (Onsite) you can access the COHC via the intranet or Citrix.

Intranet – go to the intranet Resources dropdown menu or to homepage > Quicklinks box > select ‘Clinicians’ Oral Health Channel’ link.
Citrix – Click on the COHC icon for direct access (no need for user name or password).

How do I access the COCH from home?

You can access the COCH from home (Offsite). If you don’t have a Citrix remote home account set up you will need to:

Register your own personal account via a site called Athens which is managed by the CHC.

(Note: Registration must be done while you are at work at RDHM (Onsite) using your DHSV email address e.g. jane.smith@dhsv.org.au. Athens will use your DHSV email address to validate your account - personal emails such as Hotmail or Gmail will not work).
Click here to create your Athens account >>. (This account will allow you to use both the COHC and the CHC from home and the registration page is CHC branded - see image right).

Once registered, you will be emailed your Athens login details with a link to activate your account. (When you have activated your account you will have the option to change your password).
You can now access the COHC from home via the DHSV website.

Go to > Oral health resources > Useful links and click on the Clinicians’ Oral Health Channel link under 'Links for DHSV employees'.
